Davidsons Homes | Bradgate Chase, Anstey
Leicestershire-based developer Davidsons Homes has unveiled its new showhome at its Bradgate Chase development in Anstey. Stephanie King, Sales Director for Davidsons Homes, said: ““We were very happy with the feedback we have been given by visitors on the house.”
The showhome, a four-bedroom detached Castleton with detached garage, offers what the housebuilder describes as, ‘a well-designed family home with light, versatile living spaces and three sets of French doors leading out onto the patioed area and family garden.’ Davidsons Homes is currently offering a selection of two-, three-, four-, and five-bedroom homes at Bradgate Chase.
Springbourne Homes | Hornsey Rise, Market Bosworth
Midlands developer Springbourne Homes has submitted plans for a new £20 million site in Leicestershire. The Warwickshire-based firm is seeking full planning approval for 19 aspirational homes on a 10-acre plot at Bosworth Road, Wellsborough, near Market Bosworth.
Springbourne’s Managing Director Adrian Burr oversaw the demolition and said afterwards: “In some ways it was sad to see this old building come down because there is nearly 100 years of history and heritage attached to it. Demolition is the first step towards transforming this blighted site into a stylish, new development that I believe will be a real boost and asset for the area.” Find out more…
Willmott Dixon | The Marches, Wolverhampton
Midlands-based Willmott Dixon has been appointed to deliver a £34 million contract that will see 266 new homes built for WV Living, the Local Housing Company, delivering new homes for the City of Wolverhampton Council.
The company will deliver The Marches, a combination of one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom homes – 67 of which will be affordable – on the site of the former Wednesfield High School on Lakefield Road. Find out more…
Redrow | Alconbury Weald, Huntingdon
Following on from the first phase of the Alconbury Weald development in Huntingdon, Redrow Homes South Midlands’ has announced the next phase, with 72 new homes hitting the market.
Located on Bardolph Way, the second phase of the development includes a selection of three- and four-bedroom homes.

Bellway | Vicarage Gardens, Swindon
Bellway is building 139 new homes in Swindon on the site of the former South Marston Hotel, off Vicarage Lane. The development, which will be known as Vicarage Gardens, will comprise a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom properties.

Jones Homes is putting the finishing touches in place at Greenhill Gate in Penwortham. Work is almost complete on a development of 28 new homes in Preston. The housebuilder reports that all homes, bar one, have now been sold.

Work has started on site at Deanfield Homes’ latest development, Deanfield Grange, in the West Oxfordshire village of Shipton-Under-Wychwood. The development, which is located in the heart of the Cotswolds, will feature a selection of three-, four- and five- bedroom family homes, built in a traditional style with high specification interiors to suit modern day life.
