A new housing development in Ruddington being built by Linden Homes is close to selling out, with just eight homes still to be purchased.
The housebuilder is delivering 56 new homes at Blacksmith’s Green on a site to the south of Flawforth Lane and to the east of Flawforth Avenue.
Linden Homes, which is part of Vistry Group, is building a selection of three, four and five-bedroom homes for sale at the 6.4-acre site, as well as 17 affordable homes for rent or shared ownership.
Freya Halsall, marketing assistant for Vistry Mercia, said: “Blacksmith’s Green has proved to be an incredibly popular development right from the moment we first launched the site in October last year. The high level of interest has been illustrated by the fact that we have already sold 31 of the 39 properties for sale in the six months since then.
“Buyers have been attracted to the development by a number of factors, with the location of the site proving to be a particular draw. Blacksmith’s Green is in the delightful rural setting of Ruddington which has a range of amenities including shops, pubs, a community centre, and a village hall.
“The location provides rural calm, yet is only six miles from Nottingham city centre, with the A52 and A60 close by. This allows residents to enjoy the benefits of village life while still having the attractions of a city a short distance away.
“We have found that a big plus for families is the selection of highly rated schools nearby. Parents are also delighted that there is a children’s play area on the site and that Rushcliffe Country Park, a 210-acre conservation area with a lake and a large children’s playground, is just over a mile away.”
Two four-bedroom detached showhomes – the Pembroke and the Knightley – have recently opened at the development.
Freya said: “These two fabulous properties perfectly showcase the high specification and superb finish that buyers can expect at Blacksmith’s Green. Both houses feature four bedrooms and three bathrooms, a study, and large kitchen/dining/family areas with doors that open out onto the back garden, providing the flexible space that modern family living demands.
“With only eight homes still to be reserved, this represents the last chance for buyers to secure a new home at this much sought-after development. We are staging an open weekend at Blacksmith’s Green on Saturday 9 April when the final home will be released for sale and a number of incentives will be offered.
“The demand for homes on this development has been consistently strong so we would advise potential purchasers to contact us as soon as they can.”
There is currently a choice of four-bedroom homes available to reserve at Blacksmith’s Green, with prices starting at £419,995.
