Bellway is to launch a new development of 257 homes in Ripley this month.
Construction work is progressing at Coppice Heights, off Whiteley Road, where the developer is building a range of two, three and four-bedroom houses for sale.
A sales office will open at the site in May, with the first showhomes set to be unveiled shortly afterwards.
Coppice Heights will comprise 228 properties for private sale and 29 affordable homes for rent or shared ownership.
Heidi Higgins, Sales Manager for Bellway East Midlands said: “Our Coppice Heights development will deliver a variety of homes to appeal to a wide range of prospective purchasers, from first-time buyers and working professionals to growing families.
“The site is conveniently situated just over a mile from Ripley town centre and is well-connected to the A38 and M1. We are therefore expecting a high level of interest from buyers who work locally as well as those who commute to nearby towns and cities such as Derby, Nottingham, Mansfield and Chesterfield.
“Ripley itself boasts a good selection of shops, restaurants and leisure attractions, while residents at Coppice Heights will also be a short 15-minute drive from Giltbrook Shopping Park. The development’s edge-of-town location also means buyers will enjoy having the countryside right on their doorstep, with beauty spots such as Shipley Country Park just a few miles away.”
Coppice Heights is part of a wider development of 400 homes being built in partnership with fellow housebuilder Ashberry Homes. Ashberry Homes’ Amber Rise development is also due to launch in May.
