Jeld-Wen has launched the Insulux exterior doorset range – a high performance solid timber composite doorset.
The AluClassic construction consists of internal aluminium layers providing added stability and security performance, combined with an insulating foam core that delivers U values as low as 1.2 W/m2K for the whole doorset.
Each product within the range has a quality ERA hardware and a Vectis multi-point locking system with thumb-turn operation. The range has PAS 24 specification as standard to meet the requirements of Approved Document Q and Secured by Design.
The new range is made to measure, with side and top light options . The timber exteriors are also routered to create traditional and cottage panel designs, making them suitable for both front and back doors. Housebuilders can choose from any RAL colour including dual colour options. Glazing and handles can be matched with other Jeld-Wen exterior joinery to achieve a suited look throughout a property.
Tony Pell, Senior Product Manager at JELD-WEN commented: “The INSULUX range delivers the best result for housebuilders who must cut through a competitive market. Not only is the security, and thermal performance exceptional, but the range of styles, colours and glazed options also make for added kerb appeal.”
