Skipton Properties has appointed Spicerhaart Part Exchange & Assisted Move as assisted move partners on The Bridge, a development in Haworth, West Yorkshire.
Spicerhaart Part Exchange & Assisted Move secured the contract with Skipton Properties after proving themselves ‘essential’ in the completion of a recent sale.
The Bridge is a development of two, three-and four-bedroom stone-built homes, in Haworth, near Keighley in West Yorkshire.
Caroline Verity, Sales, Marketing & Design Director at Skipton Properties said that, in the current market, being able to offer potential buyers the peace of mind that they will be able to sell their current home is vital. She noted: “We have always offered an assisted move service, because ensuring we can help our customers sell their current home, stress-free and on time has always been hugely important to us. But as we get busier, we are no longer able to provide this service in house, so we have brought in Spicerhaart to ensure our customers sell their homes when we are ready to exchange on ours.”
Caroline continued: “The regular updates the team at Spicerhaart provide are fantastic, meaning we know exactly what is happening with our customers’ homes so we can assure them they won’t miss out on a new home from us. Their recent work on one of our sales at The Bridge was essential and meant our customer moved in on time.”

Neil Knight, Managing Director at Spicerhaart Part-Exchange and Assisted Move said that while the new-build industry in the UK is quite buoyant, the rest of the market is fairly subdued, which means many people who want to buy new homes are not able to do so because they can’t sell their current properties. As a result, demand for assisted move and part-exchange services is growing.
He said: “Now that we are working with Skipton Properties, anyone who wants to buy a beautiful new-build on The Bridge development, but doesn’t have a buyer for their own home, will be able to put in an offer, safe in the knowledge that they will be able to sell their current home quickly and stress-free through us.”
