Senior staff broke ground at the site off Rockmill End, to signal the early stages of the build, which will see over 70 new homes built in the ideally-situated Cambridgeshire village.

David Thomas, Kier Living Eastern’s Sales and Marketing Director, said: “We’re excited to be getting started on our new Willingham development. This is a marvellous development for us, due to the range of homes we’re building and where we’re building them – this is a wonderful village with plenty going on.

“It’s very much a development that’s a one size fits all – it’s perfect for first time buyers, growing families, young professionals and couples looking to downsize.”

The site’s name is still being considered and will be announced imminently.

The first two show homes, consisting of one three-bedroom and one four-bedroom home are due to open for viewing in April 2019, with the first set of homes on sale in early Spring 2019.
