A new neighbourhood is taking shape in Halstead, with just 26 properties remaining for sale or to be released for sale, at Bellway’s Willow Park.
Bellway Essex is building 218 new homes at the development, off Winston Way, including 153 two, three and four-bedroom houses for private sale and 65 affordable properties available for local people through rent or shared ownership.
There’s now a choice of 19 properties available to reserve at the development, including the three showhomes which are now for sale, with the remaining seven houses to be released for sale at a later date.
Jenny Walker, Sales Director at Bellway Essex, said: “Willow Park is proving to be a very popular development where we have already welcomed residents into more than 100 of the private homes on site and a thriving new neighbourhood is already taking shape. As we hand over the keys to more and more of these new homes, this feeling of community will only grow.
“The remaining 26 properties represent the final chance for buyers to secure a top-quality home on a stunning rural development featuring a large swathe of parkland and a real focus on an outdoor lifestyle.
“All of the houses available, apart from the two and three-bedroom showhomes that are now released for sale, are four-bedroom designs. These houses are ideal for growing families needing to upsize or for those who need extra space to accommodate working from home. There’s a garden to every plot plus parking or a garage and the internal layouts of the homes have been created to maximise space.”
Willow Park will feature more than 30 acres of parkland, footpaths and a children’s play area. As part of the planning agreement, Bellway is also contributing nearly £1.7 million to the local economy and community, which includes £1.2 million towards education and more than £200,000 towards outdoor sports.
All of the homes at the development are from Bellway’s flagship housing range – the Artisan Collection. This selection of homes was launched after two years of development and decades of customer feedback.
Jenny said: “Buyers are impressed with the sheer quality of finish and specification that come as standard with homes in the Artisan Collection. The delivery of this range of homes, coupled with the fact that Bellway has achieved five-star builder status for six years in a row, reassures our customers that they are making a sound investment.”
Willow Park was launched in March 2020 and construction work is due to be completed on site by the summer of 2023.
Bellway has retained its five-star status with the Home Builders Federation (HBF) because more than 90 per cent of customers surveyed said they would recommend the housebuilder to a friend or family member.
There’s currently a selection of four-bedroom homes, plus three showhomes ranging in size from two to four-bedrooms, available to reserve at Willow Park, with prices starting at £319,995.
