Story Homes‘ latest show complex in Halton was officially opened by the Mayor of Lancaster, Cllr David Whittaker, with the launch event attracting more than 100 visitors through the doors. The 76-home exclusive development, Halton Grange, is located off Low Road and features a collection of three, four and five-bedroom homes.
Story Homes invited the Mayor to perform a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the show complex at Halton Grange’s VIP launch event. The complex showcases two of its popular homes – the five-bedroom detached ‘Worcester’ and the four-bedroom detached ‘Chartwell’, giving visitors an insight into the luxury lifestyle that a Story Home can provide.
Speaking after officially opening the show complex at Halton Grange, the Mayor said: “I was delighted to be asked to launch the show homes at Halton Grange, and see first-hand the beautiful homes and the stylish interior design. Halton Grange is set in the beautiful rural village of Halton, just north of Lancaster so it’s in a great location for commuting and it’s also close to the M6 motorway network.
“It was a fantastic to meet the Story Homes team and customers, and to find out more about the company, their homes and plans for the future in Lancaster.”
The Worcester is a beautiful home and the contemporary earthy interior design made up of green to reflect the rural location gives a feeling of tranquillity throughout the house enhancing its features to set it above the rest.
This impressive home has the wow factor as soon as you open the front door into the spacious hallway. Downstairs, the kitchen which has been designed by Nixons and includes integrated ‘A’ rated appliances is the heart of the home with the family and dining area all being open plan, featuring a stylish island and a set of bi-fold doors which open out into the back garden. A generously sized lounge with French doors leading out to the garden and dining room can also be found on the ground floor. Upstairs there are five bedrooms and a main bathroom that includes a walk-in shower and separate bath. Both the master bedroom and the second bedroom also come complete with en-suites.
We have seen strong sales at Halton Grange since the launch of the development in 2019, with significant uptake of the high specification homes.
Three homes were reserved at the VIP show home launch. Elisha and Wesley, who attended the opening event, reserved a three-bedroom semi-detached Hastings at Halton Grange. Elisha said: “We are so excited to be buying our first home together. I currently live with my parents and we’ve been saving up for a home of our very own. We first visited Halton Grange at the marketing suite opening last year and have been watching the development being built. It’s really coming to life with the impressive street scene as you enter the development, the beautiful show complex and the views of countryside from the homes.
Clare Wilson, Story Homes’ Sales Manager, said: “It was great to welcome customers to our latest development in Lancaster and showcase our homes and the high specification which comes as standard. This is our third development in Lancaster and we’ve received a lot of interest in Halton Grange and have released new plots to meet demand.
“The homes at Halton Grange have layouts to suit family and 21st century living incorporating a blend of different finishes. There is a rural feel as you arrive into the heart of the development, along with charming landscaped areas this development will be perfect for leisurely walks.
“Each home is finished to the highest specification, including features such as designer fitted kitchens from Nixons with ‘A’ rated integrated appliances, Porcelanosa tiling and oak banisters with painted spindles.”
