The quality of homes at a new housing development in Kings Norton – where housebuilder Bellway launched the first designs from its flagship Artisan Collection – has been instrumental to the site’s success.
The inaugural Artisan homes at The Oaks, off Parsons Hill, were unveiled in September 2019 and since then, this new range – the product of decades of customer input – has proved incredibly popular with buyers.
More than 85 per cent of the 154 homes being provided for private sale at The Oaks have now been sold, with just 21 properties remaining for sale. A further 17 homes are being delivered as affordable housing for local people through rent or shared ownership.
With construction on site progressing well and due for completion in February next year, 110 homes are now occupied and a further 30 customers are set to move in soon.
Sales advisor at The Oaks, Hollie Rodgers, said: “The Oaks was the first development to include homes from the Artisan Collection and we have seen an incredibly positive customer response to these new designs.
“Artisan homes have good specifications and well-planned layouts which really suit modern lifestyles, plus there’s a really wide choice of styles on offer within the range.”
The Artisan Collection combines traditional craftsmanship and attention to detail with the latest construction techniques.
Sales Director for Bellway West Midlands, Marie Richards, added: “The quality and design of the Artisan Collection homes at The Oaks – as well as the development’s exceptional location within easy reach of Birmingham city centre – has been a real draw for customers here.
“With a combination of original Bellway house types as well as the new Artisan Collection designs, and a mix of two, three and four-bedroom homes, the development has catered for a wide range of buyers.
“Customers also appreciate the peace of mind that comes from buying with a housebuilder with a five-star customer satisfaction rating.”
Bellway was recently awarded five-star status by the Home Builders Federation (HBF) for the fifth consecutive year, which means that more than 90 per cent of customers said they would recommend the housebuilder to a friend or family member.
A three-bedroom Turner viewhome is available for house-hunters to see at The Oaks by appointment.
There’s currently a choice of two and three-bedroom houses available to reserve at the development, with prices starting from £257,500.
