Vaillant sets specification standard

Vaillant has brought together its expertise and support teams available to specifiers across every aspect of heating design under the umbrella, The Vaillant Standard.

Already offering a portfolio of heating products, from energy-efficient heat pumps and boilers to effective controls, the company believes ‘The Vaillant Standard’ further highlights the business’ complete support offering to specification customers. It includes pre-planning, system design, consultancy services and aftersales support including flexible warranties.

One aspect is Vaillant’s pre-planning and design service team who can offer fully indemnified heating system designs. Approaching the team early opens the door to people with specialist experience of addressing the range of challenges that specifiers may face, such as designing for new build developments.

One such project that has already used The Vaillant Standard is a development on the outskirts of Swindon managed by Igloo, where 239 off-gas new build homes were fitted with Vaillant’s aroTHERM plus and aroTHERM split heat pumps.

Kate Barber-Lomax, Development Manager at Igloo, said: “Vaillant’s specification team was on hand to support the project across several areas, from planning, where they demonstrated the environmental credentials of installing air source heat pumps, right through to installation and, into the future, with on-hand expert training and after sales support too. Vaillant’s specification team ensured that our design consultants could adopt a system-first approach when it came to specifying the most efficient low carbon heating solution. The support didn’t stop at scoping out the most suitable heat pump either, Vaillant was also able to provide in-depth calculations for the sizes of cylinders needed too.

“By taking the time to understand the unique challenges of the project, we’ve been able to incorporate a high-performing and future-ready solution that gives residents a way of living that has sustainability at its core.”

Commercial Director, Steve Cipriano at Vaillant, commented: “We are all aware that one size does not fit all, and each development brings its own challenges and questions. Our proposition to help our customers address these head on and start a successful journey to low carbon heating, is unrivalled. We invested in heat pump technology before it was mainstream in the market, meaning we have the long-standing knowledge and expertise essential to provide forward thinking support and planning through to aftersales backing. Whether you’re based in the Highlands or down on the south coast, The Vaillant Standard ensures that our customers across the country have access to the expert advice they need, when they need it most. Giving peace of mind from the beginning to the end of each project.

“It is never too early to speak to our teams either. Tapping into the support available can help tailor the solution to suit a particular build or development, creating a result that delivers now and into the future.”
