Spitfire Bespoke Homes has appointed Neil MacKay as Technical Director for its Midlands region based in Coleshill, Warwickshire.
Neil joins Spitfire with over 13 years’ experience within the residential property sector, having previously worked on both the consultant and client side for Taylor Wimpey, and as a Technical Manager for Miller Homes, helping the latter set-up a Worcester office.
Neil commented: “I was aware of the growing Spitfire brand and had worked with a number of its staff previously, therefore I was delighted to be approached to head up the Technical department. Working for a medium-sized housebuilder means that every member of the team can really influence how the business is run and bring new ideas to the table, shaping the business as it continues to mature.
“My main aims at Spitfire are to ensure a fusion with internal departments when making key decisions and forge strong relationships with external consultants, as they play such a major part in the information we deliver to the business. Having worked on both sides of the fence, I recognise the importance of consultants feeling engaged and taking pride in helping us to deliver the excellent Spitfire product.”
Spitfire Bespoke Homes was established in 2011 and the company is strategically positioned from two offices; one in Coleshill, Warwickshire, to service the Midlands region and the other in Maidenhead, Berkshire, to serve the South East.
Recent schemes by Spitfire’s Midlands region include Highworth in Broadway, Upper Acres in Ettington, Regents Green in Royal Leamington Spa, Hillcroft in Gretton and Haseley Manor in Warwick. Spitfire is preparing to launch forthcoming sites Milbank in Welford-on-Avon and The Roundelay Collection in Snitterfield.
