The annual HBF Policy Conference will as ever be there to make sense of the challenges ahead and provide vital business useful information to help you navigate what may be choppy waters ahead. The Conference will be held on Thursday May 11th at One Wimpole Street in London.
HBF executive chairman Stewart Baseley will give the strategic overview of all that is happening, what it means for the sector and the likely implications for housebuilders. Connells Group ceo David Livesey, Savills director of residential research Lucian Cook and Savills associate director Emily Williams, will give insight into what is happening on the housing market and new homes sector. While Mark Aedy, head of EMEA and Asia at Moelis & Co, will provide insight in terms of how the sector is perceived by the City and investors.
Professor Christine Whitehead, from the London School of Economics will discuss the industry during the ‘John Stewart Memorial Presentation’ and Esther Dijkstra, MD Intermediaries at Lloyds Banking Group will present her views on the mortgage market.
With proposed changes to the National Planning Policy Framework worrying housebuilders, Matthew Spry, senior director at planning consultancy Lichfields, will look at the implications and possible scenarios.
More speakers are set to join the line up to cover all the key areas for the industry, with journalist and broadcaster John Pienaar again set to chair the conference.
