Thousands of visitors expected at Safety & Health Expo to discover innovative health & safety solutions

From video scanning technology to exoskeleton suits, demonstrations of user-friendly touchscreen lone worker safety devices and even a wearable sensor and camera technology that assesses workplace risks to industrial workers, exhibitors will showcase the very latest in innovation at Safety & Health Expo when it returns to ExCeL London 16-18 May 2023.

As the UK’s largest dedicated event for health and safety, Safety & Health Expo, powered by SHP, welcomes thousands of health and safety professionals to discover the latest products from more than 100 exhibiting companies and key associations, specialising in everything from PPE, site safety equipment, wellbeing, hazardous materials management, training, risk management, hygiene, lone worker safety technology and much more.

Seminar programme
Two fantastic inspirational speakers will address visitors in the Keynote Theatre, which is sponsored by IOSH:

  • Dame Joanna Lumley DBE will join us for a wide-ranging interview covering various aspects of her illustrious career. She will discuss her star-studded acting highlights, her charity campaigning, and her experience of burnout.
  • Professor Sir Jonathan Van-Tam will be discussing the crisis response during the pandemic, drawing on parallels between his role and that of health and safety professionals. He will explain how he simplified complex messages to influence safe attitudes and behaviour, he will discuss how to stay calm under pressure and respond to difficult lines of questioning. He will also talk about stakeholder management with leadership and welcomes questions during the audience Q&A.

Operational Excellence Theatre
With over 20 hours of content focused on the technical aspects of health and safety management, the Operational Excellence Theatre is not to be missed. Key themes include ESG, technology innovation, safety culture, wellbeing, driver safety and much more.

Mates in Mind
This year IFSEC, which is co-located with Safety & Health Expo, has partnered with leading mental health and wellbeing charity Mates in Mind. Since launching in 2017, Mates in Mind has been committed to improving mental health across the construction industry and aims to reach 75% of the industry by 2025. To help start the conversation, there will be a seminar session on Mental Health & Wellbeing in Security hosted by Mates in Mind and BSIA on Tuesday 16th May.

The Modjoul SmartBelt is an innovative AI device that prevents injury through real-time feedback and data analysis.
