Spicerhaart Part Exchange & Assisted Move has secured a contract with Preston based developer Hollinwood Homes.
The deal will see Spicerhaart offer part-exchange for more than 500 properties across three sites in Lancashire. Foxhall Village is a development of 410 two- and three-bedroom homes in Blackpool, while Whittingham Place in Preston and Parkwood Chase, in Wrea Green, are smaller developments of four- and five-bedroom luxury family homes.
Business Development Manager Neil Knight explained: “Being able to offer part exchange gives a developer the edge, but for smaller builders, it is not always easy to fund this, which is why Spicerhaart ground-breaking funded part exchange proposition is proving so popular.”
For the funded proposition, Spicerhaart Part-Exchange & Assisted Move works with specialist, cash-rich buyers that enable them to guarantee the purchase of buyers’ existing properties, and it is this option that Hollinwood Homes has signed up for, as Jane Byron, Sales Manager explained: “I used to work as a part exchange manager and have wanted to be able to offer part-exchange on Hollinwood Homes properties for years. But as a small developer, we couldn’t take on the stock to be able to offer our own service. Spicerhaart is able to fund it for us, so signing up was a no-brainer and if it works, we will definitely look to work with Spicerhaart on all our developments going forward.”
Neil added: “The property market is really tough at the moment, and builders don’t want to be in a situation where they have buyers but are not in a position to proceed straight away because they don’t have a part exchange or assisted move option.
“Foxhall Village, Whittingham Place and Parkwood Chase offer such a wide range of properties between them that they will appeal to a huge range of potential buyers. Hollinwood Homes want to be able to say, to anyone that wants to purchase, that they can sell their house quickly and stress-free, and by working with us, that is exactly what they can do.”
