Planning submitted for prestigious Cheshire homes

Cheshire-based developer PH Homes has submitted a planning application for the next phase at Alderley Park, an £11 million development of stunning family homes designed by architect Robert Adam.

The site at Alderley Park in Cheshire, is the fourth acquired by PH Homes and, if granted, will see this historic site returned to residential use after nearly 90 years.

The Estate’s original Alderley House was destroyed by fire in 1931 and replaced with a multi-story office block as part of the former R&D Headquarters of Astra Zeneca.

This development will form the latest in PH Home’s Alderley Park portfolio with their current sites The Serpentine, Cedar Square and The Ride nearing completion. The setting is part of a grand scheme which includes plans for a gastro pub, farm shop and new sports & leisure facilities, set in over 400 acres of rolling countryside.

Phil Hughes, Managing Director, PH Homes said: ’We are very excited to submit planning for a collection of imposing family homes which will return the seat of Alderley House to residential use. Steeped in history, Alderley Park is being returned to its former glory and we are extremely fortunate to work with one of the UK’s eminent architects Robert Adam to bring our ideas to fruition. This development will increase PH Homes portfolio at Alderley Park to 86 luxury homes and cements our position as the region’s foremost luxury housebuilder”.

A planning decision is expected in July 2019.
