Macbryde Homes has started work on a on a new housing development on Llys Gwynant in Bryn Y Baal, Mold.
The development, to be marketed under the name Plas Issa, will be comprised of 59 homes that include a mix of two- and three-bedroom townhouses and three- and four-bedroom detached homes.
It is the first development to be delivered in Flintshire by Macbryde Homes for several years and the company is reporting that, as with other sites that the firm is currently delivering across North Wales, demand has been high before work has even commenced.
Gwyn Jones, Managing Director at Macbryde Homes, commented: “The mix of homes that we’re now building at our site in Bryn Y Baal will make a significant contribution towards delivering much-needed quality homes in the area. Indeed, we’ve already received in excess of one hundred enquiries and anticipate this rapidly increasing now that work has started on site.”
As well as bus stop improvements in the area, Macbryde Homes is also providing approximately £170,000 that Flintshire County Council will invest into primary education.

The homes are being constructed using a mixture of red brickwork, render and grey roofing tiles, to fit within the context of the local built environment. A scheme of landscaping to gardens and substantial public open spaces is also proposed, with an equipped play area within the main public area.
The first show home will be ready to welcome visitors in Spring 2020, but sales will launch ahead of that in September 2019.
