Redrow appoints Group Sales Director

Housebuilder Redrow has appointed Claire Jarvis to the newly created role of Group Sales Director.

Claire’s promotion follows the announcement of Matt Grayson’s appointment to the role of Group Customer & Marketing Director at Redrow, which consolidates the customer services, sales, marketing and communications functions.

In her new position Claire will work with Matt to support the housebuilder’s continued growth and delivery of almost 6,000 homes per year.

Claire joined Redrow in 2012 as a Sales and Marketing Director for the Lancashire division, and since then has been a key part of the team spearheading Redrow’s new online reservation tool, which allows customers to fully and legally complete the reservation of their new home online. Prior to joining Redrow, Claire also held the role of Sales and Marketing Director at another national housebuilder and held senior roles at estate agents Hamptons International and Knight Frank.

Matthew Pratt, Chief Operating Officer, said: “We have created the role of Group Sales Director to ensure that as buyers’ needs and expectations develop so does our customer buying experience. Claire will help us continue to offer an end-to-end service to customers, leading the sales team to strengthen our offering and provide consistency across our regions.”

Alongside her new position, Claire is also playing a key role in Redrow’s recently launched mentoring programme for women. The programme aims to provide inspiration and support to the next generation of aspiring women leaders within the business, and the wider housebuilding sector, by identifying female role models across all levels and providing one-to-one mentoring.

Claire Jarvis, Group Sales Director at Redrow, commented: “Buyers are increasingly digitally focused, and consumers’ property searching and buying habits are evolving as well, especially amongst millennials and Gen Z buyers. It is therefore crucial that we dedicate manpower to staying on top of these trends to remain the first choice for buyers. It is also vital that the experience buyers receive from such an established brand is the same no matter which sales office they step into across England and Wales.

“I’m already enjoying working with all of our regional divisions to ensure the seamless delivery of sales advice and look forward to being able to share my experiences with my peers, as well as our mentees as part of our new mentoring programme.”
