Rippon Homes has reported that its development of new homes in Hasland near Chesterfield has all sold.
The Hasland Green development has transformed a former derelict brownfield site into a place for families to call home. Demand was apparent early-on with nearly half of the 17 three and four bedroom properties at the development reserved by buyers before a brick had been laid. Now all the homes have been snapped up.
The success follows the popularity of Rippon’s nearby Kings Meadow development in Wingerworth, which also saw local homebuyers keen to secure their dream home off plan.
Ian Dyke, Managing Director at Rippon Homes said: “With excellent schools and great local amenities it is no surprise that Hasland Green has proved such a popular development. It is also a testament to our reputation as a high quality housebuilder that the majority of our homes are bought off plan by eager home hunters. Every house built by us is covered by a National House Building Council 10 year guarantee.”
As part of the planning agreement with Chesterfield Borough Council, the housebuilder is contributing nearly £30,000 to the local community. £11,399 is being put towards education needs and £18,663 towards maintaining the historic Eastwood Park in Hasland, which is within walking distance of the development.
Rippon Homes also has developments in Mansfield, Tibshelf and Welton.
