Duchy Homes proposes new homes near Beverley

Duchy Homes plans to build 29 new homes in the East Yorkshire village of Walkington.

Housebuilder Duchy Homes is looking to build 29 new homes in the East Yorkshire village of Walkington. The housebuilder has acquired land on Little Weighton Road which is a former part-paddock.

The proposed homes will be a mix of new semi-detached and detached houses, comprising a mix of one-, three-, four-, and five-bedroom houses, including seven affordable mews houses. Public consultation has already taken place in the community and Duchy Homes has submitted designs for a reserved matters planning application.


Duchy Homes, has celebrated its 100th sale since starting up less than seven years ago.


Walkington village with its Grade II listed church and picturesque village pond (pictured) enjoys an attractive location with close proximity to schools, services and leisure facilities.
