Create HomesCreate Homes | St William’s Gate, Pilling
Create Homes, part of Create Group, has announced its latest housing development will be in the semi-rural location of Pilling, on the Wyre.St William’s Gate will offer a collection of semi-detached and detached properties in a range of two-, three- and four-bedrooms.

As part of this development, the company will be featuring its popular house types The Stalmine and The Rossall, as well as launching a new house type ‘The Brock’, a four-bedroom home.

Each new property will feature large social living spaces and offer high levels of specification as standard throughout including German engineered Siematic kitchens by Stuart Fraser; integrated Neff appliances; oak veneered doors, security systems, block paving and a fully fenced & turfed rear garden. Avant HomesAvant Homes | Cygnet Park, Killingworth
North East housebuilder Avant Homes has been given the go ahead on a new £47.4m development, after planning permission was granted by North Tyneside Council. The 20.86-acre development will feature 200 homes across a selection of the company’s design-led two, three, four and five-bedroom housetypes. There will be 14 housetypes to choose from and 38 affordable homes will also be included across the development.

Work on the development, named Cygnet Park, is set to commence immediately with the showhomes expected to open in March 2020 and the first homes due to be ready for occupation in May 2020. The overall build is expected to take five years.

Killingworth’s Cygnet Park is one of 11 developments currently under construction by Avant Homes North East delivering more than 2,000 new homes for the region. Find out more…

 

BellwayBellway | Waltham Heights, Waltham on the Wolds
Building work has started on a new Bellway housing development which is set to bring 60 new homes to Waltham on the Wolds. The company is building a mix of one-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes at Waltham Heights, off Melton Road. With construction work now underway, the first homes will be released for sale in October.

Carolyne Watkinson, Sales Director for Bellway East Midlands, said: “We are really pleased that work has started on our new homes in Waltham on the Wolds. This development has been carefully designed to help meet the growing demand for new homes in Leicestershire and offers a wide variety of houses for buyers at all stages of the property ladder.”

Hayfield PlaceHayfield | Hayfield Place, Silsoe
A new development of 105 luxury homes is being brought to the market by Hayfield in the Bedfordshire village of Silsoe. The 14-acre development will feature new public footpaths, a balancing pond, a biodiversity corridor that will run across the site, and a new section of bridleway and cycle route will be created to connect the scheme into the local Bedfordshire footpath network.

The new homes will be constructed in red and buff brick and render. The specification of the family homes will include underfloor heating, designer Laufen bathrooms, Minoli ceramic tiles, Hammonds fitted wardrobes, Farrow & Ball paint, heritage bronze door furniture, bi-fold doors, and bespoke kitchens designed by Manor Interiors.

A range of integrated appliances will be included in the kitchens as standard, including multifunctional ovens, an induction hob and an instant hot tap.

Construction work is underway and the first batch of homes will be available for occupation in early 2020. Find out more…

 

Bolton at Home and Irwell Valley Homes | Bolton
Housing providers Bolton at Home and Irwell Valley Homes have been granted planning permission for 118 new affordable homes close to Bolton town centre. The homes will be built on a derelict former car park off Chorley Street with work expected to start on site before the end of September.

The development, which has received grant funding from Homes England, will be built Watson Homes and has been designed by TADW architects. Once complete, it will offer 17 two-, three- and four-bedroom houses with landscaped gardens which will be available to buy through the Government’s shared ownership scheme designed to help people onto the property ladder.

The remainder of the homes will be apartments offering a mix of tenures including affordable rent and Rent-to-Buy, as well as dedicated housing for older people. Find out more…

 

David Wilson Homes and Barratt Homes | Canalside @ Wichelstowe
David Wilson Homes and Barratt Homes have released the first detailed images of the new homes being built at Wichelstowe, south of Swindon. Canalside @ Wichelstowe will feature a mix of 208 apartments and houses with the new developments launching this autumn and the first residents set to move in during 2020.

David Wilson Homes Sales Director Louise Ware said the designs showcase the five star quality and style of the housebuilder and include the three-bedroom Greenwood design, the four-bedroom Parkin and the Wichel Stray – a design which will be built overlooking the canal.

Wichelstowe is being delivered by a joint venture company which is a 50:50 partnership between Swindon Borough Council and Barratt Developments plc. Over the next 20 years, the Wichelstowe Joint Venture will deliver around 3,000 new homes on a 250-hectare area of land. Find out more…
