Building work is entering a final phase at Bellway’s Barley Fields development in Tamworth, the company has announced.
The housebuilder is providing 314 homes at the development, off Ashby Road, with 227 properties for private sale and 87 affordable homes.
Construction work is set to finish next year, when Bellway anticipates the last residents will have moved in.
Marie Richards, Sales Director of Bellway West Midlands, said: “We are pleased with the progress of construction at Barley Fields and are now on track to finish work here by next year.
“We now have 225 of the total 314 homes occupied by either private or affordable residents, creating a real sense of community already.
“Barley Fields provides a wide range of house types with no fewer than 15 different designs for buyers to choose from. Of the 33 homes still left to purchase, three – the Tutbury, Stafford and Beckford styles – are still available to view as showhomes at the development.”
This development will form part of a joint scheme with Ashberry Homes, which, once complete, will consist of a total of 535 homes across the two sites.
