Midlands housebuilder Avant Homes has been given the green light on a new £37.4m development, after planning permission was granted by Nottingham City Council.
Located three miles from Nottingham City Centre on the site of a former Siemens factory on Woodyard Lane, the 9.3-acre development will feature 110 houses across a selection of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom housetypes. There will be 11 house designs for buyers to choose from and 10 per cent of the development will offer affordable homes.
Groundworks on the new development, named Woodyard Park, have commenced immediately with the marketing suite expected to open in February 2020 and the showhomes following in May. The overall build is estimated to take approximately four years and the first homes are expected to be completed in July 2020.
Woodyard Park is one of 10 developments currently under construction by Avant Homes Midlands, which will deliver more than 1,900 new homes for the region. This will be the housebuilder’s second site in Wollaton, the first, Martin’s Reach, is located on Russell Drive.
Avant Homes Midlands Managing Director, Tim Brickley, said: “Woodyard Park will feature our very latest house designs and new specification, including top-of-the-range kitchen appliances, bi-fold doors, smart home technology and more. Much like Martin’s Reach, we’re expecting our latest Wollaton development to be popular with local homebuyers, so we’re looking forward to launching the development in February next year and revealing our showhomes shortly after.”
