Avant Homes to build 89 new homes in Nottingham

Midlands based Avant Homes has been granted planning permission to build 89 new homes in the Wollaton suburb of Nottingham.

The housebuilder has acquired a 26.7-acre site for the £32m Martins Reach development. Alongside 89 new properties, Avant Homes will also be delivering 182 allotment gardens, a play area and a nature reserve on the site for the local community to enjoy.

The properties will be a mixture of two- and three-bedroom semi-detached and four- and five-bedroom detached houses, all complete with the housebuilder’s new interior specification.

Avant Homes Midlands managing director, Glyn Mabey, said: “We are very pleased to have been granted planning permission on our new site at Wollaton. Our plans for Martins Reach were well received by the planning committee and we are keen to begin construction.”

As well as providing much-needed, high quality family homes for the city, Avant Homes will also invest more than £580,000 in education, infrastructure and travel initiatives, as well as community projects.
