National Ventilation is hosting a webinar which will look at the new Building Regulations and what this means for ventilation in new build homes. Titled ‘Domestic Legislation for Ventilation’ the webinar is aimed at architects, developers, and contractors with developments of less than 100 plots.
Published on 15th December 2021, the new Part F (Means of Ventilation) and Part L (Conservation of Fuel and Power) of the Building Regulations are set to help the UK deliver Net Zero including a reduction of almost a third less carbon for new homes. But as buildings become more airtight, to improve efficiency and help achieve this goal, it is important to consider indoor air quality (IAQ) too. The new Part F sets out important changes which will accelerate the move towards low carbon ventilation as an industry standard while improving IAQ.
The webinar ‘Domestic Legislation for Ventilation’ will be an hour long and is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 31 May 2022 at 12 noon.
In the webinar National Ventilation will explain the changes to both Part L and F of the Building Regulations, with a detailed look at Part F. It will also look at the best ventilation solutions to specify for new build homes; design considerations, such as noise and ingress of pollutants; as well as installation and commissioning.
