New recycle scheme makes Abode Pronteau hot water taps the greener option

A green-thinking alternative to buying bottled water that helps to reduce the amount of single use plastic contaminating the environment while also delivering steaming hot water, the Abode Pronteau 4 IN 1 range offers retailers many advantages to upsell.

A new Filter Recycle Scheme from Abode adds yet another major advantage to the list, as now the filter in the boiler is suitable for recycling at the end of its life. Consumers can simply send the finished filter back to Abode, free of charge via Royal Mail, at no cost to and minimum of fuss for the consumer or retailer.

What happens when the filter arrives at Abode?

Once a sizable batch have been collected, Abode sends them to its approved recycle partner who responsibly oversees the separation of each component part. Here the plastic is ground down, ready to be reused and the internal resin is also brought back to life for reuse.

The Abode ProBoil2 and ProBoil3 filters are now recyclable, along with Swich High Resin filter cartridges, giving consumers the opportunity to easily convert an existing standard tap to one that delivers great tasting filtered water.
