Grant UK has launched its first range of underfloor heating which consists of systems to suit both the new build and retrofit markets.
Assisting with designs and supplying all the underfloor pipework and components, Grant UK can now offer complete package solutions to installers for their customers’ home heating needs.
Designed to partner effectively with renewable technologies, Grant’s underfloor heating complements and works alongside the company’s existing product ranges.
Grant’s wet underfloor heating range comprises of two systems – Uflex and Uflex MINI. Both systems have been designed to be easy to install and use the same manifold. Evenly distributing heat upwards into a room, the Uflex and Uflex MINI underfloor systems maintain optimum room temperatures while also helping the heat source, such as a Grant Aerona³ air source heat pump, to work as efficiently as possible.
The Uflex system is embedded within the floor construction and is suited for new builds and extensions. Meanwhile the Uflex MINI system can be installed over an existing floor and is specifically designed to suit retrofits and renovations. Grant’s Uflex MINI system has a low profile being just 15mm in finished floor height, which allows for the underfloor heating installation without requiring significant changes to a room’s infrastructure.
Utilising self-adhesive panels which are compact in size, a self-levelling screed can be laid over the Uflex MINI system which dries in three days, after which the heat source can be introduced. Furthermore, this system does not require overboarding which makes for a simpler installation as the final floor finish can be laid directly on top of the dry screed.
Alongside the supply of the underfloor pipework, components and controls, Grant UK can also provide design assistance including outline system designs through to full drawings. The addition of an underfloor heating range and design service enables Grant UK to deliver a complete product offering to the market.
