Property developer Dorchester Living has selected Eternit Rivendale fibre cement slates for use on its Heyford Park Development in Oxfordshire.
Over 1,000 homes are currently being constructed on a 1,200 acre site in Heyford as property developer Dorchester Living creates a dedicated community. Another 1,600 properties also confirmed to be built.
Dorchester Living has also invested in the surrounding community by building a nursery and a combined primary and secondary school with additional sports facilities. The new development will also provide employment opportunities and leisure facilities, including a restaurant, bowling alley and hotel opposite a new national convenience store.
Each plot throughout the development has its own dedicated style, boasting properties in a wide range of sizes, from first homes right through to large-scale family houses. Eternit Rivendale fibre cement slates has been specified on a number of the properties.
Nathan Holcombe, Managing Surveyor at Dorchester Living said: “We specified Eternit Rivendale slates at Heyford Park as we wanted to create resilient properties that would stand the test of time. Choosing durable and hard-wearing building materials which don’t compromise on aesthetics, such as Eternit Rivendale slates, has been really important in helping us create an infrastructure for the community that we are confident will last.”
Nathan continued: “We are extremely pleased with the final look of the project as the slates complement the exterior aesthetic of each style of home. Heyford Park is a long term commitment for Dorchester Living and we look forward to continuing our partnership with Eternit as we build a thriving community for local residents.”
Available in striking Blue-Black and Cromleigh Graphite, Eternit Rivendale fibre cement slates feature a finely detailed surface and dressed edge, combining the benefit of modern technology with the look of natural slate.
