The new homes at a housing development in Hatton are beginning to take shape.
Ashberry Homes is building 242 two, three, four and five-bedroom homes at Cherry Meadow, off Station Road in the village. The development will also include public open space including a children’s play area and a cycleway and footpath alongside Salt Brook.
With building work well underway, the first three and four-bedroom houses have been released for sale.
Heidi Higgins, Sales Manager for Ashberry East Midlands, said: “We have worked extremely hard to design a fantastic selection of homes at Cherry Meadow, and it is great to watch the first homes take shape.
“There is a growing demand for new homes in Derbyshire, and Cherry Meadow will help to meet that need by offering a wide selection of properties suitable for all types of people, from first-time buyers to families and downsizers.
“Hatton is a vibrant village, with a great range of amenities including a primary school, shops and leisure facilities, so it is no surprise we have already received a great deal of interest in the homes available here.
“Buyers needing to commute to Derby, Stoke-on-Trent and Birmingham for work will also benefit from strong transport links, with Tutbury and Hatton railway station within walking distance and the A50 and A38 just a short drive from home.
“As well as public open space within the development, there’s some lovely countryside on the doorstep, while it’s only 16 miles from the stunning landscapes of the Peak District National Park.”
There’s currently a selection of three and four-bedroom homes available to secure at Cherry Meadow, with prices starting from £192,000.
