Springfield Properties, a housebuilder in Scotland offering private and affordable housing, has appointed two Managing Directors in its Private Housing division.
Dave Main, who has been with Springfield for almost 20 years, has been promoted from Development Manager to Managing Director for the North of Scotland (Private Housing). Peter Matthews, a former senior executive at Keepmoat Homes and Taylor Wimpey, has joined Springfield as Managing Director for Central Scotland (Private Housing).
The new managing directors are responsible for expediting geographic expansion by providing a regional sales focus and increasing operational efficiency.

Commenting on his appointment as Managing Director for the North of Scotland (Private Housing), Dave Main said: “Having been with the company since its very early days, I’ve seen just how much it has grown over the years, from the introduction of affordable housing to the creation of Springfield Choices and the expansion to central Scotland.
“The company has a tremendous ethos of employee development and excellence. Training is highly valued at Springfield and in a growing company there are always opportunities for progression if you deliver projects effectively. I am really excited to take on this role as we drive forward Springfield’s pipeline of private developments across the North of Scotland.”
