Orbit Homes has reported a strong market for its wide range of products during the financial year. Its market sale division declared a net sales rate per outlet of 3.3 per month in the year, which was up from 2.9 in the previous year.
Managing director Andrew McDermott said: “Orbit Homes delivered a further record performance for yet another year as we continue to grow. We have built over 257 homes in the last 12 months, for market sale.
“We go into our new financial year with an order book 39 per cent up on last year. Our land bank continues to grow as we deliver an increasing pipeline of new homes. We continue with our aim of building homes and communities within our operating areas, working with all our stakeholders.”
Orbit Homes also reported its average selling price in the last 12 trading months was £221,000 up 7 per cent on the previous year blended from all its three regions.
Another notable achievement this year has been achieving a five-star rating in the customer satisfaction survey carried out by the HBF.
Andrew McDermott added: “We take a very serious stance in delivering homes to a high standard and delivering to all of our customers a home that they can be proud of. We do not get it right every time, but we are constantly striving for 100 per cent zero defects, every time. If our customers are investing in our homes, I expect them to take delivery of a home from us at a show room standard.”
