Energy Assets Utilities (EAU), a multi-utility network construction company, is making a significant investment in a new fleet of low-emission vehicles.
The first 33 new vans to be replaced in the company’s commercial fleet of over 200 vehicles will be based at EAU’s Alva base in Scotland, and will be followed by a further 40 vehicles destined for operations in England and Wales. The investment has been made to support utility network construction at residential and commercial developments across Britain.
The new MAN 3.5 tonne TGE diesel vehicles are energy efficient, meeting Euro6 emissions standards, and incorporate SATNAV and tracking systems, along with reversing cameras/ sensors and speed limiters.
