Lovell’s new building and contracts manager for the Midlands region, Matt Cadwallader, aims to ensure that the company’s developments are among the tidiest in the country.
With long experience in the building trade, Matt (pictured above), is responsible for the smooth running of sites in and around the Birmingham area. He intends to ensure they are on schedule to deliver style, quality and value for the Lovell homes.
Of his new role, Matt said: “My first priority is to ensure that my sites are tidy and that the lads are happy at work. Clean sites are both happy and profitable sites and I aim to ensure that’s how they stay.
“I enjoy working with the people at Lovell and particularly like the discipline of being with a good, old-fashioned company run along traditional lines, yet with progressive ideas for development.”
Tony Evans, regional operations director for Lovell, said: “Matt’s extensive experience of the building trade, achieved through the years since leaving school, will be a valuable asset to Lovell. He has a hugely positive attitude to making the most of working practices on site, and we are confident in his ability to deliver only the best.”
Based at Lovell’s Halesowen office, Matt is currently overseeing six sites. These include the final phase of Harvills Grange in West Bromwich and The Meadows, a new development of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes, coming soon at Clifton-upon-Teme.
