GROHE releases new Red hot water system

GROHE has introduced its new Red: a tap delivering instantly kettle-hot water.

The hot water system has been relaunched as a new model, instantly providing water heated up to 99 degrees Celsius. Featuring two self-explanatory icons, the new control is simple to use and incorporates a child lock device. The system complies with the EU standards for Energy Efficiency Class A and the spout’s insulation allows it to be constantly safe to touch. Offering a holiday mode setting, it caps the maximum water temperature inside the boiler at 60 degrees Celsius, resulting in lower energy costs.

The hot water system is available in a variety of models – the M-sized boiler has a capacity of 4 litres to suit small families, while the L-size is large enough to fulfil the requirements of offices and larger households. Both boilers are resistant to corrosion as the water tank is made of high-quality titanium. Each starter set comes with a filter to protect the system against limescale and impurities, while also improving the taste of the water. These filters are available in five different variants to be selected in accordance with local water supply conditions. By heating the water to 99 degrees Celsius, the tap also complies with WRAS and is suitable for installation in new build homes.

Apart from the Duo models, which allow you to also mix cold and hot water like a conventional kitchen sink tap, there are two Mono models, which exclusively supply boiling water to sit alongside a pre-existing kitchen tap.
