Hobs 3D is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Hybrid Services, the UK and Ireland distributor of Mimaki printers.
A subsidiary of the Hobs Group, Hobs 3D provides 3D solutions nationwide, with headquarters at Here East innovation and technology campus, situated within Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.
The partnership extends the portfolio of solutions available at Hobs 3D with the installation of a Mimaki 3DUJ-2207 – a high-definition 3D printer with full-colour-modelling capabilities. The 3D printed output is ideal for producing precise prototypes as well as intricate architectural models, which perfectly complements the needs of Hobs’ existing client base.
Eric Savant, Managing Director of Hobs 3D, welcomed the partnership, “We’re excited to install the new Mimaki 3D printer which will enable us to offer vibrant, full colour 3D printed parts straight out of the machine. We know our clients will love how the Mimaki recreates their design, brand or building project with both dimensional and colour accuracy.”
Bridging the gap between digital and physical 3D creation, Hobs 3D employs a select and diverse team of 3D printing specialists, model makers, product designers, 3D digital artists and XR/VR/AR immersive storytellers. Passionate about its ability to offer a bespoke solution for its client base, the collaboration with Hybrid and Mimaki will allow the company to further expand its offering.
“With its ultra-fine quality and ability to accurately print in over 10,000,000 colours, the Mimaki 3DUJ-2207 is ideally suited to Hobs 3D’s high-end setup,” says Hybrid’s head of marketing and business development, Duncan Jefferies. “The Mimaki is the perfect addition to their existing production processes, and we’re very much looking forward to seeing the team at Hobs 3D realise its huge creative potential in the coming months.”
