The first residents at a new Bovis Homes development in Witchford are now settling into their new homes.
The five-star home builder has welcomed its first arrivals at Pemberton Park, a development of 124 new homes off Field End.
Bovis Homes is building two, three, four and five-bedroom houses, as well as creating a large public open space with a children’s play area and cycle path.
Sales Manager for Bovis Homes, Charlotte Barber, said: “With construction work progressing well on the wide range of homes we are building at Pemberton Park, we are very pleased to be welcoming the first residents to the development.
“At this stage the new community really begins to form, as people meet their new neighbours. Some of our residents are moving to Witchford because it offers village living with fantastic access to Ely and the wider area. Others have been living nearby and have taken the opportunity to move to a new home with a modern layout.
“The range of homes we are building truly provides something for everyone, with homes to suit all budgets. We have numerous offers, incentives and buying schemes aimed at helping people to secure their home.
“So far, Pemberton Park has proven to have broad appeal. Anyone who would like to know more, or to look around the development, is welcome to make a one-to-one appointment with our sales team. Our advisers will be happy to tell them all about our plans for the development.”
Bovis Homes will make 91 homes available for private sale at Pemberton Park, with prices currently starting at £244,950. The remaining 33 homes will be dedicated as affordable housing to support people in and around Witchford, or who have ties to the village.
The Government’s Help to Buy equity loan scheme is available at Pemberton Park. Customers can also save up to £15,000 if they move into their new home before the end of March 2021 under the stamp duty holiday announced by the government.
Bovis Homes achieved a five-star rating from the Home Builders Federation this year, which means more than 90 per cent of its customers said they would recommend the housebuilder to a friend. The award is made by the Home Builders Federation (HBF) based on the results of the National New Homes Customer Satisfaction Survey conducted by NHBC.
