Mulberry Homes is providing hundreds of new homes in Bedfordshire to meet the growing demands for housing across the county.
The medium housebuilder, which is currently building new homes at its fourth and fifth developments in Bedfordshire, is delivering a total of 347 new homes in the county.
The new year saw the launch of two new developments by the builder – Manor Heath and Maulden Ridge – which follow the successful completions of previous Mulberry sites in Potton and Lower Stondon, both of which sold out ahead of schedule.
Located off Clophill Road in Maulden, a collection of 49 three, four and five-bedroom detached homes, including 17 affordable homes, are being built at Maulden Ridge. More than 55 per cent of the homes have now been sold at the popular development following its February launch.
Meanwhile at Manor Heath, which is located at Leestone Park in Leighton Buzzard, construction work on a selection of 76 two, three and four-bedroom homes, including eight affordable homes, is well underway. These homes are appealing to a wide range of buyers including first-time buyers and families alike.
Kerry Jones, Sales and Marketing Director at Mulberry Homes, said: “Our commitment to Bedfordshire over the last three years matches our growth plans of providing local house-hunters with a range of luxurious homes that they can feel proud to call their own.
“In addition to providing new homes that property seekers on all stages of the property ladder can benefit from, our developments in the area have also delivered significant investments to local services through legal agreements with councils, which have enabled us to continue our support in the communities which surround our homes.
“We are proud to have successfully sold and occupied hundreds of homes across the county already, and we believe that this is a true indication of the strength of the local property market.
“We feel that a huge part of our success is down to the variety of luxury yet affordable homes we have on offer, in carefully planned locations which are sought after by many.”
Manor Heath and Maulden Ridge will benefit from electric car charging points in the visitor parking area and automated smart parcel delivery boxes as part of the developers’ industry-leading ‘The Mulberry Difference’ initiative.
Kerry added: “We believe in the importance of providing sustainable and ethical facilities for both residents and local people to benefit from, and with our ecological initiative, we aim to promote positivity, whether it’s environmentally or personally to add to the community’s sense of wellbeing.
“With our new homes in Maulden and Leighton Buzzard already proving very popular among house-hunters, we would encourage those seeking a new home in the area to get in touch with our sales team, who can provide further information and in-person tours of our showhomes.”
