Construction work starts on 92 new homes in Dunfermline

Persimmon Homes North Scotland has begun construction work on an £18m residential development in Dunfermline.

The first foundations of 92 new homes are being laid off Dunlin Drive in Dunfermline following the acquisition of the nine acre site by the housebuilder.

The development will comprise a mix of three, four and five bedroom detached and semi-detached dwellings with a sales launch expected in April and the first legal completions due late summer 2016.

Iain Innes, managing director for Persimmon Homes North Scotland, said: “The site at Dunfermline is in a great location and our plans will ensure that a range of homes are developed to support the high demand in the area.

“We’ve been actively building homes across Scotland for a number of years and this latest site is testament to our commitment to extending our operations throughout Fife and further North.

“Persimmon Homes has a great reputation for delivering quality, affordable homes and we’re sure the local community will benefit from the increased number of houses available in what is already a popular residential area.”
