New specialist spray plastering technique to be trialled be Avant Homes.
The Airless range of ready-mixed finishing solutions by Knauf is a highly efficient alternative to traditional plaster for walls and ceilings. The spray finishing will be trialled across a selection of Avant Homes’ developments this spring and if successful will be considered for roll out across the entire group portfolio.
The technique is quicker than traditional methods and it also eliminates the need for pre-mixing or a direct water supply making it much cleaner to use and ready for instant use.
Avant Homes’ group procurement director Martin Sanwell said: “We work very closely with our supply chain partners always proactively seeking ways to innovate and improve our processes. Spray applied solutions are a faster and more sustainable method of finishing and we are looking forward to trialling the Knauf ready-mixed system in our new homes and seeing the benefits it could bring.”
