Luxury gas stoves have helped to create a stylish interior for homes on a new development in Exeter.
Creating a stylish interior is important for any new home. To help achieve this at its new development in Exeter Heritage Homes have included luxury gas stoves in a number of new homes on its Holland Park development.
The Faber Vaska gas stoves feature in a significant number of homes at the Holland Park development, which boasts zero carbon emission standards*. The balanced flue fires offer flexible installation without the need for a chimney, which means they can be installed in any room with an exterior wall.
Guy Olliver, commercial manager for Heritage Homes, said: “We were impressed by the design of Faber’s Vaska stoves, not to mention the ease of installation offered by the freestanding, balanced flue models – and the price of course. They are the perfect choice for this prestigious development.”
Under control
Gas stoves are becoming increasingly popular in premium properties because they can give greater control than solid fuel models, with no mess, reduced maintenance and no need to store fuel. Faber’s freestanding Vaska gas stoves offer 69% efficiency and a heat output of 4.8kW.
The focal point stoves were chosen to complement the luxury interior of the properties which also include a host of eco-friendly technologies including triple glazing, underfloor heating and extra thick insulation to achieve an AA* energy efficiency rating.
It is all part of a drive to minimise and conserve energy at the Heritage Future Collection development, where each property is 75% more energy efficient than other homes currently being built under today’s 2010 Part-L Building Regulation* requirements.
“We were impressed by the design of Faber’s Vaska stoves, not to mention the ease of installation offered by the freestanding, balanced flue models”
Tracey Falshaw, marketing manager for Faber, said: “The Faber collection of balanced flue fires offers some of the most efficient gas fires on the market. Our Vaska stove is a great fit for this premium Heritage Homes development, but it is also reflective of a shift in attitudes that gas stoves were specified for such exclusive homes.
“Gas stoves are easier, cleaner and more efficient than solid fuel, not to mention the flexible installation on offer, so it’s no surprise they are proving popular both in new homes and refurbishments too. They also look great and can provide effective, single room heating with an excellent flame picture – which is exactly why housebuilders, homeowners, architects and interior designers are switching back to gas.”
