Thomas Sinden has secured the contract to build 30 new residential homes for KAIYANG (London) Real Estate Ltd in Chingford, London. The £6 million contract, which has been designed by 5plus Architects, will feature 30 high quality sustainable homes including five, three-bedroom family dwellings along with social amenity space and car parking.
On the site of a former petrol filling station, the 3,410 sq.m. Rowden Parade has a five-storey frontage, onto the primary street, steps down to two storeys adjacent to the terraces, in order to respect the privacy and daylight of neighbouring buildings. A private courtyard at the rear of the development provides the communal amenity space and integrates the secure car parking.
Des Thomas, Director of Thomas Sinden comments, “In light of the current economic climate, and the need for high quality homes in London and the South East never being greater, we are delighted to have been awarded this contract. We are highly experienced at creating high quality, sustainable homes that people can be proud of and look forward to starting work on site shortly.”
