Welsh property developer Waterstone Homes is set to make a return to housebuilding in Swansea after three years with a new residential scheme on the outskirts of the city.
Following on from its Howell’s Reach development in Derwen Fawr, which sold out in just six months, the housebuilder has confirmed a second Swansea location after securing another site in the region.
Set in the suburb of Killay the development, named ‘Copper Beeches’, will consist of nine four and five bedroom family homes, incorporating a mix of semi-detached and detached properties. Each home will feature open plan layouts as well as a specification that includes Amtico flooring and ‘top of the range’ kitchens with NEFF appliances.
Waterstone Homes last built homes in the city in 2016, when it completed ‘Howell’s Reach’, a development of 17 four- and five-bedroom family homes in Derwen Fawr.
Andrea Gardner, Sales and Marketing Director at Waterstone Homes, said: “We are thrilled to be returning to Swansea for our next development. Our first collection of properties in Howell’s Reach received an excellent response from the public and proved to be one of our most popular schemes to date, testament to the strength of the property market in the Swansea area.”
Work on the properties is due to begin in January, with the homes expected to be completed and available in the autumn of 2019.
