Orbit Homes has successfully entered into contract on two brand-new sites in the Midlands.
The affordable house builder will deliver 58 homes at the sites, with completions during the period of 2022 and 2025. The developments will offer a mixed tenure of social rent, affordable rent and shared ownership.
Callendar Farm in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, will deliver 37 affordable rent and 13 Shared Ownership properties, as part of the S106 agreement in collaboration with Vistry Partnerships.
Gouldens View in the village of Norton, just outside of Daventry, will be developed in partnership with Snowden Homes and the Northamptonshire Rural Housing Association. The site will include five social rented homes and three shared ownership homes, developed on a rural exception site.
Regional Managing Director for Orbit Homes in the Midlands, Andrew McDermott, commented: “We are delighted to announce we have entered into contracts on these schemes in the Midlands and to show our commitment to delivering affordable homes. The two sites will provide an exciting opportunity to deliver more much-needed new homes to the region, helping to address the lack of affordable housing in England, especially following the pandemic and its impact on low income households. We look forward to delivering these new developments and creating two new thriving communities in Nuneaton and Norton.”
