Sale of new homes to boost affordable housing the in the Bishops Stortford area.
New affordable rented and Shared Ownership homes will soon be available in the Bishops Stortford area, after housebuilder Countryside successfully concluded the sale of 55 affordable housing units at its new St Michael’s Hurst development to Clarion Housing Group.
The sale includes 22 affordable and Shared Ownership homes in the first phase of St Michael’s Hurst, which comprises 90 apartments and houses in total, and will become available in early 2018. The remaining 33 affordable and Shared Ownership homes will be in the proposed second phase of the development, which is still subject to planning approval.
