Housebuilder Avant Homes has purchased 24-acres of land to build a £77.5m development including 265 design-led homes in Clifton, near Nottingham.
Subject to planning approval from Nottingham City Council, the development will feature a collection of one, two, three, four and five-bedroom properties across a selection of 15 of Avant Homes’ house designs. Up to 20% of the new development will be designated to affordable housing.
If plans are given the green light, initial groundworks are expected to commence this summer with the build expected to take approximately six years.
Avant Homes East Midlands Managing Director, Tim Brickley, said: “Acquiring this parcel of land in Clifton is a testament to our ambitious growth plans to extend our presence in key locations in Nottinghamshire and the wider East Midlands region.
“This acquisition is a testament to our commitment to the delivery of much-needed, high-quality homes in Nottinghamshire and we now await the planning decision to move this development forward.”
