The company is hosting training events designed to provide practical and hands-on training to those wishing to install its Cedral Lap and Cedral Click fibre cement cladding.
Throughout the year, these training events are set to take place at Marley Eternit sites and merchant stockists across the UK, and will be overseen by Marley Eternit’s dedicated Cedral Commercial Trainer.
The training events give an overview of the product benefits and the opportunity to explore the differences in the aesthetics and installation of both Cedral Lap and Cedral Click.
This year Marley Eternit is introducing a new advanced training event, which will follow on from the introductory course key topics, such as installation guides, top tips and an overview of the Cedral accessory range.
In addition, the advanced course will provide theoretical and practical training for vertical installations of Cedral Lap and Cedral Click and a Q&A session for site-specific challenges.
Rob Gould, Cedral Commercial Trainer, commented: “Fibre cement is growing increasingly popular for those who are looking for an easy to install product that is durable and sustainable, and one that also provides a visually striking aesthetic.
“The training events are the perfect opportunity to showcase Cedral’s ease of installation and allow those attending to feel confident when working with the product. Last year we had great success from our roadshows and, with the training events for this year, we are able to give a much more comprehensive overview.”
Cedral offers the visual appeal of natural timber, is low maintenance and is designed to stand up to the harshest weather conditions, and there is no need to continually repaint it as it is resistant to rot and immune to attack from pests and insects.
In addition to this, Cedral is a durable and long lasting product, with a life expectancy of at least 50 years. The complete range has fire classification A2-s1, d0 to EN13501-1 and can achieve an A+ rating for the lowest environmental impact in the BRE’s Green Guide to Specification.
Rob added: “The events are free of charge and provide an understanding for installing Cedral. The feedback we received last year really helped us to shape the training events for this year, and we hope that we can welcome many people to join us.”
