British rooflight manufacturer, Roof Maker, is extending its range of products with the launch of a new Abutment Rooflight.
Providing the opportunity to specify roof glazing that runs up against a wall is the new Abutment Rooflight from Roof Maker. Designed to enable natural light to flow into the inner areas of a house Roof Maker’s new Abutment Rooflight can be installed against walls at a pitch of 5° to 15° – eliminating the requirement for a gap between the wall and rooflight.
The company uses a patented cushioning technology which moulds into the crevices of walls that may have small imperfections or rough textures, significantly reducing the risk of water ingress.
Available in black or anthracite grey finishes, the Abutment Rooflight is supported by Roof Maker’s specialist Reflex Glass range in a variety of glass tint options.
Sabahudin Medic, Operations Director at Roof Maker, said: “Roof Maker is committed to continuous product evolution, to ensure we consistently provide our customers with the best looking and most advanced rooflights available on the UK market. Our new Abutment Rooflight reflects this determination, constructed using triple glazing as standard, helping to improve the overall thermal efficiency of the property as an outstanding Ug-value as low as 0.6w/m2k can be achieved.”
The new product is also available as a walk on unit, perfect for fitting at ground level in gardens in order to provide natural light to basements whilst maximising usable space. It is manufactured by Roof Maker at its factory in Leicestershire.
