Grohe has launched a new ‘Plus’ tap range – designed for the bathroom, but with influences from the kitchen.
First launched at ISH in March 2019, the Plus range comprises a selection of coordinating brassware including bath fillers and basin mixers which also complement existing bathroom ranges, such as the company’s SmartControl shower systems.
Grohe has taken key trends and consumer demand from the kitchen and used this to inform new and innovative features for the bathroom. Noting that the boundaries between each room and their individual purposes continue to blur, the company’s design team has been inspired to reflect this in its products too.
The Grohe Plus range seeks to raise the bar when it comes to ergonomic comfort and practicality through the integration of features such as swivel spouts and pull-out hoses. These features have been designed to help to increase the functionality and convenience of the bathroom tap, providing ample space for cleaning your face and washing hair, whilst taking the hard work out of the daily washing and cleaning of the basin sink.

Characterised by a sculptured lozenge body that has been designed to complement both round and square bathroom styles, the Plus range combines the curves of a circle with the geometric edges of a cube to create what the company says is a ‘visually powerful architectural silhouette’.
The design features of the Plus range can be replicated throughout the bathroom interior; with a selection of models in a variety of sizes and styles, from classic single-levers mixers to 2- and 3- hole mixers, as well as fittings for bath, shower and bidet.
The company has also announced that further additions to the portfolio can be expected later this year, which will include tap models utilising the very latest in infra-red and LED technology, designed to encourage users to enjoy a more considered approach to water consumption.
