The National Federation of Builders (NFB) has honoured companies across the UK in its 2015 awards with Bennett Homes receiveing the Housebuilder of the Year award.
Construction companies and industry figures from across England and Wales gathered in London to celebrate outstanding contributions made to the built environment in 2015, and the high quality work and commitment delivered by NFB members across the regions.
This fifth annual awards ceremony, held on Thursday 24 November, was hosted by television presenter Mark Durden-Smith and celebrated some of the best talent offered in construction.

Apprentice of the Year Award: WINNER – Daniel Young, Stepnell Ltd
Newly joined NFB members Verto Homes who won the award for Eco Award 2015 said, “We are very grateful and thankful for this award as we are new members to the NFB. We want to lead the way in sustainable house building with our fully automated sustainable smart homes, using a futuristic but affordable approach.”
Richard Beresford, chief executive of the National Federation of Builders summed up the event saying: “Since I joined the NFB, I have been making sure our focus is firmly on our members. This awards evening is one of the reasons why. You all do such impressive work that goes far beyond simply building, it is a pleasure to represent you. Just looking at some of those entries reminded me of the breadth of skills and talent our members have.”
