Members of the National Federation of Builders (NFB) can now take advantage of discounted membership with Constructionline as a result of a new agreement between the two organisations.
Constructionline is the UK’s leading procurement and supply chain management scheme that collects, assesses and monitors standard company information through a question set that is aligned to PAS 91, the standardised pre-qualification questionnaire developed by BSI to reduce duplication within the construction industry.
From October, every NFB member who joins (or is already a member of Constructionline), will have their rolling membership extended to 15 months. Effectively this will give all NFB members 15 months membership for the price of 12, a gain of 25% each year.
Richard Beresford, Chief Executive of the NFB, said: “We’re thrilled to announce this additional benefit for our members, which will no doubt be welcome news as it will save them money. We’re also proud to continue leading the way in demonstrating collaboration between construction industry organisations. By streamlining accreditations and opportunities for our members, we afford them more time to build and grow successful businesses.”
The NFB and Constructionline have a history of working together and were both part of the steering group commissioned by the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills to work with the British Standards Institute in the development of PAS 91, set up to standardise pre-qualification and help buyers engage with SMEs and local companies.
