McCarthy & Stone is celebrating after ten of its site managers were awarded at the National House-Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job awards.
Over 16,000 entries were received in the NHBC Quality awards, which recognise individuals at the top of their profession who consistently demonstrate outstanding quality throughout the construction process.
In order to identify the best applicants, the judges undertook spot checks on the day-to-day running of sites, while each site manager was further assessed across 37 areas of management, including their technical knowledge, consistency in the build process and the quality controls they have in place.
Clive Fenton, Chief Executive Officer at McCarthy & Stone, said: “I would like to congratulate our site managers who have been singled out for their outstanding performance to receive this prestigious award. It’s truly a testament to the hard-work and quality that goes into every McCarthy & Stone development to ensure we continue to deliver the high standards for which we are renowned. Each and every one of the team, from construction workers on the ground, to the sales team in the office, plays an active role in turning the McCarthy & Stone vision into reality.”
It’s been a year of awards for the company, which recently achieved the full five star customer service satisfaction rating for an eleventh consecutive year from the Home Builders Federation.
Since 1977, McCarthy & Stone has built over 50,000 high-quality specialist retirement apartments and has more than 160 developments under construction or for sale nationwide.
